the lotus boys live in lakes and rivers in warm to hot climates. they spend most of the time asleep under water with only the closed flowers on their back visible. they come up briefly when the sun rises to play while they absorb sunlight with their petals. their diet consists mostly of algae. they take the form of young boys of 10-13. although gentle, they tend to shy away from humans, as their naive and romantic nature causes them to fall in love quickly and deeply, yet cannot talk to the object of their affections.
